An online and in-person Herzing University is opening a campus in Nashville, according to an announcement from the school.
Herzing University’s 11th campus will provide students with “several nursing and healthcare programs and pathways for prospective healthcare professionals of all backgrounds and experience levels.”
The school is private, nonprofit, and fully accredited.
“A new campus means new opportunities for students in Tennessee and the surrounding area to support and enrich their communities,” said Renee Herzing, the President of Herzing University. “In an effort to combat the ongoing healthcare shortage, we strive to not only educate students but also prepare them with the resources and experiences they need to thrive at Herzing and beyond.”
The school will provide Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees, as well as Doctorates in Nursing Practices (DNP), Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees and registered nurse-to-BSN transitions.
Initially, the Nashville campus opened in September with Bachelor of Science programs in nursing, health information management, health sciences, and healthcare administration.
Online, the school offers more than 50 degree programs in healthcare, technology, business, and public safety.
On a national level, the school is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It has campuses in Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, Minnesota, Florida, and the Wisconsin cities of Brookfield, Madison, and Kenosha.
According to the school’s website:
We are committed to the employment success of our students and alumni. Our career development coaches work with students from day one of class, to graduation and throughout their careers.
We help students achieve career goals by providing support in defining objectives, identifying career options, conducting employer research, developing a professional resume and online profile, interview coaching and connecting with employers.
